One small success: Luna (the dog in the attached photos, one the right in the before photo) traveled safely to Fort Lauderdale and was greeted happily in her new home. In the words of her new owner: “She loves the big bed and going for long walks. She pays no attention to the squirrels and ducks. She chases lizards! She is a very happy little dog, thank you so much for sending her over. We all love her very much. Tonight we have to go by a sweater as tomorrow will be cold here. She is gaining weight and now is at 10 pounds.”

Sophia Zeilstra and Siena Kinsale used a part of their summer break to help the much needed animals at The Humane Society’s Shelter. These two animal lovers sold avocados in front of Sophia’s home and raised $62.00 which they kindly donated to The Humane Society.
