Adopt-a-Thon
Mark Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th on your calendars. The BHS will be holding an Adopt-a-Thon at the shelter. We’ll be open 11am until 8 p.m. both days and adoptions are only $10 so come on over and see all the lovely adoption animals we have available.
BHS Annual General Meeting
The BHS Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11th, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Shelter. All members are invited to attend. If your membership has expired, you can renew ahead of time or on the night.
Bingo Night This Week
On Wednesday, August 21st, the second Bingo Night will be held at 7 p.m. at the Green Parrot, Nassau side. It’s a WIN-WIN! You take home COLD HARD CASH and the ‘House’ keeps 50%.
New X-Ray Machine at the BHS
We are excited to announce that with the help of Lindsay Panning and Vets Without Borders, The Bahamas Humane Society is now the proud owner of a digital x-ray machine. This will help us save the lives of many animals through cutting edge diagnosis.

BHS Summer Fun Photography Contest
We invite you to participate in the Bahamas Humane Society’s fourth annual photography contest. Entries must be in by 13 September 2013 and the prize draw will happen on 27 September.
Meah Foundation Street Festival
This Saturday 22nd June is the rescheduled Meah Foundation Street Festival along Charlotte Street. This music-filled event begins at 7 p.m. and is sure to be a fun evening for all. Part of the proceeds from the raffle and silent auction go to the BHS
Thrift Shop Sale 15 June and Prize Draw
The BHS Thrift Shop will be having a sale on Saturday 15 June from 10am to 2pm, pop on over to get some great deals on books, clothes and everything else in the store. In addition we are currently running a Prize Draw if you spend $10 or more.
The BHS Summer Camp
