9:30pm a couple phoned our 24hr rescue service to report, this little guy hanging out on their picture frame in the living room. Our rescue service came and rescue this little guy from the screaming couple and took him to a safe environment. Your donations also help to keep all creatures out of harms way, we thank you for your donations and ask that you continue to support us as we strive towards a Humane Bahamas.
All the little Campers are still enjoying themselves, but will be saying bye to their furry friends that they spent their Summer vacation with. After twentyeight plus years of services in the field of animal welfare Chief Inspector Carl Thurston bids farewell to The Bahamas Humane Society. This mild mannered gentleman will be missed by both staff and animals for his dedication, commitment and loyalty to the cause of trying to eliminate the level of unnecessary suffering of animals in The Bahamas.
We wish Carl all the best in his retirement and we know where ever he goes he will continue to encourage persons to be responsible animal owners.
